Subject: Change in date for GGNRA hearing at Board of Supervisors — new date is tentatively April 11,

Hello,

GGNRA has informed us that they are unavailable on March 14 for our hearing.  Moreover, GGNRA indicates that the comment period will be extended into May.

Because we now have more time and because it’s important for GGNRA to be present at the hearing, the Board of Supervisors hearing date on the GGNRA off-leash policy, as well as the possible permitting of commercial dog walkers, has been changed tentatively to MONDAY APRIL 11 AT 1 P.M. We will follow up with confirmation next Monday.

Best,
Adam

I noticed at Crissy Field in the Presidio that the banners on the flag poles have altered the name of the GGNRA to Golden Gate National Park? Who authorized this? Does this mean we get “restored wilderness” and give up recreational? I hope not.
